TIM ELZINGA
Tim Elzinga has been serving the investment* and insurance needs of his clients for over three decades. After graduating from Hope College in 1988, Tim began his career in banking. A move to investment* services soon followed and Tim hasn’t looked back.
Tim enjoys long-term relationships with individual investors*, retirees, professionals and successful business owners. The most important part of his job is listening to his clients, so he truly understands their situation. Working from that perspective and calling upon the support of solid partners at Kansas City Life and the investment community*, Tim can offer a broad array of financial products* that meet his clients’ needs.
In order to best serve his clients, Tim has focused on continuing his education and training. His efforts were rewarded in 2001 when he was designated a Certified Financial Planner, CFP®, by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards. This background gives Tim deeper insights into investments* and insurance, estate planning, tax planning and employee benefits planning for businesses. Tim’s efforts have earned him membership in Kansas City Life’s President’s Club, Fifth Third Securities’ Chairman’s Club, PLANCO/Hartford’s Captain’s Club, and Federated Hermes Investors’ President’s Club.
Tim and his wife, Sarah, live in Wyoming, Michigan. Their older daughter, Jane, works for a regional community mental health agency. Their younger daughter, Anne, works as a hospital chaplain in Southeastern Michigan. Tim and Sarah are active in their church. For recreation, Tim enjoys the great outdoors in his native Northern Michigan.
